Professional musicians, actors and dancers work with people with special needs, children in areas of multiple deprivation, schools, colleges, arts centres and rural communities, exploring myths, stories and songs that have inspired great composers of the past. Being able to play with stories and create music is fun, as well as being therapeutic, and artistic creativity can lead to stronger communities and a greater sense of well-being. Ongoing projects include The Ring Cycle, inspired by Wagner's Ring Cycle myths; children with special needs are devising music theatre pieces with our musicians and dancers. |
